HISTORY
The CLUB SUNCY program was designed to allow and simplify access to navigation for all, in total respect of our environment.
To do this, we have imagined and built our own solutions starting from a blank page. Our boats are unique and designed to offer you an experience based on pleasure, silence and well-being.

SUNCY boats run 100% on solar energy and can be used in the open sea or on lakes, benefiting from a specific design allowing absolute autonomy even at cruising speed.
The silence on board allows you to communicate without having to endure the stressful noise of thermal engines.

This award-winning program in France and internationally is a great source of pride for all those who have collaborated on it, through our innovative boats or our various demonstrator prototypes and proofs of concepts that have been or continue to be available in the Mediterranean.​
However, an essential part of our approach also aims to make the sites and their history known and to integrate into the various activities related to local tourism, education and collective action.
Also, to facilitate and make our deployment efficient, we first developed our boats in order to give them an image more in line with "marine" codes.
We have also created for you "The SUNCY CLUB", a club open to all and focused on the unequivocal respect that we must guarantee for the wonderful environment in which we operate.
Thanks to all the certainties acquired through our long experience of more than 10 years and 15,000 km traveled in total motor energy autonomy, SUNCY has established itself as the natural leader in "electro-solar" navigation in the Mediterranean.

OUR BOATS
First of all, it is important to understand that SUNCY experiments are carried out on REAL boats and not on pontoon-type platforms on floats, as the previous generations of solar boats offered.
Our electro-solar boats are unique.
As the original designers of this technological application for boating, we are very well placed to know that significant shortcomings had to be corrected to better understand the comfort that our users must obtain from us.
For example, a platform on a float "dives" into the waves and allows water to pass through the boat, which is quite "unpleasant"..., the "lego" design of these barges also implies a disturbing buoyancy in terms of rolling.
We wanted to correct this through the SUNCY program which is the result of years of experience and feedback from our users.

In fact, our boats are designed and manufactured by us (in the region) through a traditional marine architecture approach and a design without any concession to safety and comfort. Our design phases - prototyping and demonstrators, are now over and we are happy and proud to give you access to more suitable equipment.
Thus, our range consists of two models: CTZ and CZ, of identical dimensions but designed to meet different markets.
We offer this one to the general public - through the CLUB SUNCY program - or to professionals in acquisition or long-term rental (renters, hoteliers, public actors)
Our technological choices have been validated according to the following terms:
The sun charges our batteries (gel or Lifepo4 depending on the version) which power the boat's electric motor.
Depending on the CTZ or CZ versions, the battery banks installed range from 10 to 15kW and the electric motors used have a power of 4kW to 12kW.

We thus obtain the energy autonomy sought to navigate in complete peace of mind, comfort and without carbon emissions.
Through this program, we are happy to be able to receive you every day of the year and share with you magical moments around the magnificent peninsula of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on these exceptional boats.
